To be completed annually by suitably qualified persons.

The aim of the following procedures is to provide assurance that the fire hydrants are operational and ready for use. Test results shall be recorded electronically via the form below and stored online so that they may be accessed at any time. Maintenance work will not be considered complete until the form below has been successfully submitted and received by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Section 1 - Hydrant Survey
1.1 Exercise all underground SA Water isolation valves and check valves are fully open
1.3 Fit approved test orifice and gauges to the Northern hydrant and open to flow 30 L/s
1.6 Open all hydrant valves to prove presence of water
1.7 Change booster inlet washers
1.8 Lubricate and reinstate hydrant valve moving parts
Section 2 - 5 Yearly Hydrotest
Section 3 - Service Records
Defect Type: 1 - Critical Defect, 2 - Non-Critical Defect, 3 - Non-Conformance, 4 - Recommendation
